HIKING ALONG THE BEAUTIFUL WILD COAST OF SOUTH AFRICA

Amadiba Trails

Hike along the Wild Coast and stay in different villages with the Pondo people. Local families will provide you with accommodation, bedding and three meals a day.

Price:
R 3000 per person for 5 days
R 2000 per person for 3 days

Transport back to the start and for ferries will be included, a porter service is an additional R150 per day.

Wild Coast Sun to Msikaba Nature Reserve – 3 days (2 nights)
Wild Coast Sun to Mbotyi – 5 days (4 nights)
Msikaba Nature Reserve to Port St Johns – 5 days (4 nights)

Wild Camper – hiking or trail running

Hike along the Wild Coast and stay in en suite tented chalets with access to a fully equipped communal kitchen. The communities own a 25% share in these camps. You carry and prepare your own food, porters are available on request and transportation to the start of the trail is provided.

Wild Camper is also now also available as a trail running trip between tented camps. All your food and bags will be transported between the camps.

Prices – 3 day hike:
R 2800 per person
R 2500 for groups (2-4 people)
R 2200 for groups (5-15 people)

Horse riding adventure

Village homestay + lodge (2 days and 2 nights)
Experience the Wild Coast on horseback, on a two day trip from Wild Coast Sun to Mtentu. Accommodation is a village homestay on the first night and the second night a lodge at Mtentu. Price includes accommodation for two nights, meals and horses.

R 1500 per person

Optional extra activities that can be added to your trip
  • Canoeing at Mtentu river
  • Visit to the Sangoma/traditional healer
